According to press reports, the management of the French club Paris Saint-Germain has decided to end negotiations on the inclusion of the English Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva.

Silva has been Paris Saint-Germain’s top target this summer to compensate for the departure of their star Lionel Messi to the American club Inter Miami.

However, Manchester City rejected all the offers made by the Parisian club, prompting the latter to officially end the negotiations.

It is believed that the transfer of another Manchester City midfielder Riyad Mahrez to the Saudi club Ahli Jeddah increased the English club’s adherence to Silva.

The tension in relations between the owners of St. Germain and Manchester City also contributed to the failure of negotiations.

The Parisian will continue to look for other alternatives in the transfer market to strengthen the ranks of the team.
